Hello and welcome to my fun little website about getting jacked after 40.

I'm Physique Coach Scott Tousignant. I take great pride in helping men and women over 40 gain the confidence, vitality, and respect that comes from living the prime of your life with ripped abs and biceps that stretch your sleeves!

Along with helpful tips to get jacked, much of what I share here comes from my own personal body transformation experiences. The workouts I follow and meals I eat.

You'll see a lot of my workout partners in my training videos. Both Mike and Rick are 56 years young. Both are jacked and in the best shape of their lives.

And at 43 years of age I’m also in the best shape of my life. But I haven’t always been jacked.

When it comes to muscle and genetics, I was dealt a pretty crappy hand.
I grew up a scrawny hardgainer. While other guys were experiencing the joys of newbie gains I was fighting tooth and nail for every ounce of muscle added to my frame.

At 20 years old, after 6 years of consistent lifting I had built myself up to a whopping 123 pounds. The 20 pounds of muscle I gained during this time looked good on me, but it certainly was nothing worth bragging about.

Note: I’m small boned and 5’ 6.5” tall to put things in perspective.

In my mid 20’s life ‘got in the way’ as I watched my body balloon up while gaining 60 pounds of excess fat.

At a time of my life when I should have been celebrating my family, business, and friendships I was in a complete funk. Down in the dumps. My physique and health wasn’t congruent with who I am.

I spent 10 years trying the get rid of the excess fat I had gained. I would be good for a few days then fall off the wagon. I found myself saying, “I’ll start again tomorrow”. This vicious cycle repeated itself over and over again.

Until finally, at 35 years old I decided enough was enough. I got my shit together and transformed my average body into a work of art in spite of my crappy genetics.

Since that moment when I flipped that switch in my mind 7 years ago, I’ve never looked back. Always moving forward. Always learning. Always growing. But most important… loving every step of the process.

What makes this journey most rewarding is sharing it with men and women just like you, who are excited about getting jacked after 40.
